Cultivating intimate conversations with entrepreneurs, reflecting on the heartbeat of their organization.
We’re excited to be partnering with R.I.S.E Artisan Fund – an impact investment portfolio that invests in early-stage artisan enterprises, creating sustainable livelihoods for rural communities with few economic alternatives. To learn more about the R.I.S.E Artisan Fund, click here.
In this episode we are joined by Rashmi Bharti co-founder of Avani – a community built on the principles of sustainability and local empowerment, that focuses on developing new approaches to sustainable, conservation-based livelihood generation for rural communities. We’ll hear about how Rashmi and her husband’s desire to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, led to the founding of the organization; how they have created an ecosystem based on sustainability in the supply chain that has grown over time; the challenges they have faced over the years; and the dreams and aspirations for Avani.
