In this episode we are joined by Allison Havens Director of Yabal – a Fair Trade organization, focused on sustainable fashion, that supports indigenous women’s weaving cooperatives in Guatemala, providing them with the opportunity to sell their hand-woven products through local and international markets. We’ll hear about the importance of cultivating relationships and sustaining impact with their artisan producers; the meaning behind the name Yabal; the history of how the social enterprise got started; and what she would if the sky was the limit!
