The potential of migrants and ethical fashion

File_000Simone Cipriani, Head and founder of the International Trade Center’s Ethical Fashion Initiative recently shared his thoughts and experiences about the potential of migrants working in Ethical Fashion in an article on Huffington Post.

Through his vast experience working in the sector to create market frameworks for micro producers in Africa, Cipriani provides great insight on the potential of working similarly with migrant communities. Micro producers and organizations that are better suited for small batch production are a fairly untapped resources in the artisan sector and once a solid framework for operation, distribution and quality control are established, it will enable such organizations to be sustainable in the long run.

Are you or your organization a micro producer and/or better suited for small batch production? If so, we’d love to hear and share your operational and production strategies!
